Most flood risk maps assume the pipes instead of modelling them.
In a city, rainfall flooding is decided largely by whether the drainage network can carry the water.
Most commercial flood models are built from terrain and river data, and represent drainage with an assumed capacity rather than the actual pipes.
The result is a score that describes an area rather than an address. Scores from different providers can disagree for the same property.
Modelling the network and the surface together shows where the water goes.
Drainage networks are designed for a design storm, and the required storm differs from one standard and country to the next.
In heavier rainfall, water exceeds pipe capacity and flows over the surface. Our models represent both the network and the surface.
They can run any design storm a standard requires, and any recorded storm, so they show which streets and buildings receive the water, how deep and how soon.

Planning Scenarios
Engineering options tested on the model before construction.

Real-time Forecasting

Sectors
For lenders, insurers and property owners.
Finance, Insurance and Real Estate (F.I.R.E.) carry the financial cost of flooding, and need address-level data to price, insure and protect assets.

Lenders
Know which mortgages sit on streets that flood.
Address-level flood depth and arrival time for credit models and stress tests.

Insurers
Price flood hazard by the street, not the postcode.
building-level index for underwriting, with a backtest on a storm you already know.

Real estate
Not just a risk score. What it costs to fix. Site-level flood exposure and the tested cost of mitigation.
Built and delivered: Herzliya, Israel.
The Herzliya model was delivered in January 2026.
A planned upgrade of pipes and reservoirs was tested and optimised on it before construction.
The model then produced updated flood hazard maps, showing the reduced flooding the upgrade will deliver.
