Desert Resort Flood Protection 

A luxury resort was envisioned for development in an arid desert region, situated near a zone identified as having a high risk of flooding. This presented a complex set of engineering and regulatory challenges, as the proposed site fell within the boundaries of a 100-year floodplain. Securing approval for construction in such a sensitive area required a robust approach to both risk assessment and flood protection.
